The scenery of Schwarzwald is similar like that of New England, but it’s undeniably prettier. Count Otto von Bismarck visited the region to view the scenery several times during his reign. Animals include cows, horses, foxes, and owls, such as in the Midwest.
The region is used to tourism. Recreational activities include skiing, hiking, and mountain biking.
The German people around the Black Forest celebrate Fastnacht, a German holiday that happens before Lent. On Rosenmontag, the Monday before Ash Wednesday, crowds with masks flood the city. The holiday is comparable to Marti Gras in New Orleans.

Hi Caitlin! great content about the Schwarzwald, but Schwarzwald isn't a city, so you could change the section about celebrating to:
ReplyDelete' go to Cologne and other cities' to celebrate Karneval.
